Oh Heidi

I don't know whether to feel bad for Heidi Montag or not? All I do know is that this girl is crazy. This is a funny video my sister showed me from Perez Hilton's website. It made me laugh.

Shop Housing Works

Have you heard of the cool website Shop Housing Works? It's a great way to shop and help homeless New Yorkers suffering from HIV and AIDS.
-Housing Works is committed to ending the twin crises of AIDS and homelessness. We believe that all people have the right to a rich and empowering life. Since 1990, we have provided the highest quality services for homeless men, women, and children living with HIV and AIDS in New York City and beyond.

You can find great designer steals, from handbags, luggage, dresses, coats, and even furniture! Right now I have my eye on a pair gorgeous Chloe boots!

On the wings of love

I never really got into The Bachelor/Bachelorette show until Jason (who was from Kirkland here in WA) was THE BACHELOR. He shocked me along with the rest of America when he did what he did on that unforgettable season finale. In the end I have to say I admire his choice in Molly- we share the same name after all! I did have a chance to meet Jason last year at a charitable auction and I'll just say this, he is a million times better looking in person!!

Anyway- I've gotten into the newest season of The Bachelor with Jake. I love the cheesy title "On the Wings of Love". Don't get me wrong I like romantic stuff but that name is silly. I guess that's the point right? It might just be me; I swear the show is going by way faster than it ever has before- girls are dropping like flies. It seems as though more and more leave each week. My hope is that he ends up with Tenley- she seems really genuine and sweet and they look adorable together! Or maybe I just want him to end up with any of the girls so long as it's not Vienna...

Silky, soft, and smooth...

I like to use Shu Uemura's Silk Bloom Restorative Treatment. It's seriously the BEST conditioning treatment I've ever used. I first learned about it from my hair guru Kevin, who's a designer at Gene Juarez. Use it and you'll never want to use anything else.

Whidbey Island

It's nice having a place you can run away to- my secret hideaway is Whidbey Island. My favorite part of the drive on the way up there is going over Deception Pass Bridge. It connects Fidalgo Island to Whidbey Island, it's almost 1000ft long and about 180ft high. I think the picture says it all, though I've driven/walked across it many times, it never ceases to take my breath away. That's why I love living in the Pacific Northwest.

Every girl should have...

at least one pair of Tory Burch flats like these! I personally think the black leather with the gold emblem are the most practical. They're amazing, comfortable, and go with EVERYTHING. Shoes are my weakness and these are no exception. Ladies, invest in a pair of these and I promise you, you won't regret it.

Welcome

Well I did it, I made a blog. I've been thinking about creating one for a while now and finally got around to it. Not exactly sure all the things I'll be posting on here but I'd like to share my thoughts on world happenings, movies, music, fashion, coffee, shopping, travel, my dogs, etc.

I'm Mollie. I'm in college, I work and love to read. I am a very loyal Starbucks customer (I've been going since I was 12, thanks to my mother). I love Nordstrom, Tory Burch, Frye boots, William Rast jeans, Josh Groban, Michael Buble, and long walks on the beach.

I guess that's all for now- we'll just have to see what I post next...goodnight.
